Tatyana comes from a strong military
background. Her father
Jack Diens was a Colonel in the USAF before handing in his
resignation and marrying her mother Sarah Diens, a Major
also with the USAF. Tatyana is an only child.
A relatively happy childhood only disrupted by the death of
her maternal grandfather (caused through bronchial
problems) at the age of seventeen. Facing and dealing with
death at this age prepared her for her future career,
allowing her to be stronger.
She pursued both her loves of Psychology and Medicine
during college, leading to her current qualifications.
After reaching her academic goals, with the encouragement
of her parents, Tatyana joined the Air Force as soon as
possible. There she excelled in all aspects of training
which leads to the present day situation of why she was
picked for the SGC.
Several years after joining the SGC (2008) Tatyana became
pregnant and was grounded for the gestation period. She
gave birth to a baby boy, Bradley. Tatyana refuses to name
the father.
Her time at the SGC ended when she was eventually caught
running abase wide gambling ring which extended to the
Tok'ra allies. For involving other species, she was taken off
of the field teams and sent to the Stargate Academy until
such time that she shows remorse and repairs the damage
done to the SGC's (and her own) reputation. She was given
the position of Psychology lecturer and as a reward for
going quietly she was allowed to take her child with her. |
