Jefferson O'Malley

Born: August 5th, 1983, Vancouver, BC, Canada. An older sister and younger brother.

O’Malley studied languages at the University in Montreal, taking his BA and passing with honors. He is fluent in 16 languages (currently) and has a working knowledge of many others. He has a natural ability to swiftly pick up a new language or dialect and is always seeking to add to his knowledge.

Uses a small hand-held database to supplement any linguistic area he is unsure of.

Prior to enlisting at the Stargate Academy, O’Malley worked at the Canadian Embassy in Beirut as a translator. His abilities were noticed by a visiting high-ranking officer stationed at the academy and he was soon recruited to the Stargate Project.

Previous combat experience is extremely limited, but he has proven he is more than capable in this respect while in Beirut, when terrorists besieged the Canadian Embassy. O’Malley received a commendation for playing the main role in overcoming the threat.

Jefferson O’Malley has a tendency to ash rashly, and without due caution. This should be noted and considered at all times. His lack of combat experience could prove problematical – recommendations have been made to further this lacking area of his experience. It is felt this will also aid in the previous area of concern.
