Andrew
was born in Salisbury, England in May of 1986, the only child of
Michael and Ruth Milborne. At the young age of 8 Andrew showed a
growing interest in the stars. He once told his mum that someday he
would travel to the stars.
His father always thought that it was only a
phase that Dreu was going through, never in his wildest dreams did he
think his son would ever get the chance to step foot on another
planet. That was until the Stargate program went public in 2003.
Michael and Ruth knew that their son’s dreams were now a reality.
Over the next 6years Dreu worked hard at his
studies and what time he didn’t devote to them, he was at his second
passion, Stonehenge. Dreu applied for the academy 6 months after he
finished his PhD in astrophysics’.
Ruth and Michael were so proud of him all of
his life, but extra proud the day he received his letter of acceptance
to the Stargate Academy.
